Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions set out the agreement between Amani Towing and everyone who requests a tow, a roadside call or a vehicle transport from us: what we provide, what we charge for and what we ask of you.

Agreement to These Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to amanitowing.com and to every towing, roadside assistance and vehicle transport job Amani Towing performs. By calling our dispatch line, sending a request through this website or allowing our driver to hook up your vehicle, you accept the terms set out on this page.

If you are asking us to move a vehicle on behalf of someone else (an employer, a dealership, an insurer or a family member), you confirm that you are authorized to do so.

The Services We Provide

Amani Towing is a family-owned company working across Birmingham and the greater metro area. Our work covers:

  • Emergency towing after breakdowns and collisions.
  • Roadside assistance including jump starts, tire changes, lockouts and fuel delivery.
  • Winch-out and recovery for vehicles off the roadway.
  • Flatbed transport for non-running vehicles.
  • Dealer, auction and fleet transport under standing accounts.

Each service is described in full on our towing services page. We may decline any job that is unsafe, unlawful, or beyond the capacity of our equipment.

Requesting Service and Dispatch Times

You can request service by phone or through the form on our contact page. Phone is always fastest in an emergency.

Any arrival time we give you is a good-faith estimate, not a guarantee. Traffic, weather, road closures and call volume all affect how quickly a truck reaches you, and we will tell you if our estimate changes materially. We are not liable for losses caused by delays outside our control.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911 first, then call us.

Pricing, Quotes and Payment

We quote before we dispatch. The price depends on the service, the distance, the vehicle and the conditions at the scene: a winch-out or a non-running vehicle takes more work than a straightforward hook-up, and is priced accordingly.

Additional charges may apply where the job turns out to be materially different from what was described when you called. We will tell you before any extra work begins.

We do not take card payments through this website. Payment is arranged directly with our office or with your driver at the time of service, and a receipt is provided. Dealership and fleet accounts are invoiced under separately agreed terms.

Vehicle Release, Storage and Impound

Where a vehicle is taken to a storage lot, it is released to the registered owner or their authorized representative on presentation of proof of ownership and photo identification. Storage fees, where they apply, accrue daily and are quoted when the vehicle is booked in.

Police-ordered tows and impounds follow the instructions of the requesting authority and Alabama law, including the procedures set by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. In those cases we cannot release a vehicle until that authority permits it, whatever the owner’s wishes.

Your Responsibilities

To let us work safely and quickly, we ask that you:

  • Give accurate information about the vehicle, its condition and its location.
  • Remove valuables and personal belongings before the vehicle is loaded.
  • Tell us about low clearance, all-wheel drive, aftermarket suspension, or anything else that changes how the vehicle must be moved.
  • Wait somewhere safe, away from live traffic.
  • Be present, or send an authorized representative, where the vehicle must be released or accessed.

We are not responsible for personal property left inside a vehicle.

Liability and Vehicle Condition

Our drivers are trained and our trucks are insured. Where damage is caused by our negligence during a tow, it is covered by our commercial insurance; raise any claim with us in writing as soon as possible so the damage can be inspected while the evidence is fresh.

We are not liable for pre-existing damage, for wear or mechanical failure unrelated to the tow, for damage that is unavoidable given the vehicle’s condition, ground clearance or recovery position, or for damage arising from information you gave us that turned out to be inaccurate.

Where a vehicle’s condition makes some risk unavoidable, our driver will explain it before starting work.

Cancellations and Call-Outs

Let us know as early as you can if you no longer need the truck. There is no charge for a cancellation made before a truck leaves. Once a truck has been dispatched and is en route or on scene, a call-out charge may apply to cover the trip, and we will tell you what it is at the time.

Insurance and Third-Party Accounts

Many tows are arranged and paid for by an insurer, motor club or dealership. Where a third party is paying, you remain responsible for any part of the bill they decline to cover. We will provide the paperwork needed to support a claim, but we cannot guarantee another company’s decision.

Use of This Website

The text, images, logo and layout of amanitowing.com belong to Amani Towing and may not be copied or reused without written permission. You agree not to disrupt the site, submit false service requests, or use our contact form to send unsolicited marketing.

Information on this site is general guidance, not a substitute for a quote from our dispatch team for your specific job. How we handle the information you send us is set out in our privacy policy.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, and any dispute arising from our services falls to the courts of Jefferson County, Alabama. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We may update these terms and conditions as our services or the law change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Requesting service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Questions About These Terms and Conditions?

If anything here is unclear, or you want these terms confirmed in writing before a job, our Birmingham office will talk it through with you.
